Consistency for your school is key and this is also why the system works out of the box and doesn't require anyone to spend months of their time building their own templates from scratch

Once you've completed your own risk assessment to begin with you can use this as a template so any customisations specific to your program will be maintained in that document every time you use it

School administrators can customise some risks within the system for Transport, People & Environment

If there are specific things in those three categories which you need to customise you have full control over this and can find the customisation settings inside the school admin settings. These can also be marked as mandatory for each risk assessment

We're pretty open to the sorts of activities schools run and we've run many higher-risk activities over the decades we were teaching. However, we also have our limits

Any activity that we consider to be inappropriate for a school group or we cannot determine an appropriate nor reasonable hazard identification and control process when it comes to a school or youth group we will not include. For example, bungie jumping and quad biking are two examples of things we will not be including
